Imagine a Friday night. Imagine me spending all day doing god-knows-what and Nat spending all day in exams.
Imagine me making spaghetti and serving it up the minute Nat comes through the door. A bottle of wine. Some music in the background. Imagine me clearing the plates and coming back to the table, the Storymatic open before Nat, Nat reading the directions. "OK, OK," she says: "I get it..." She hands me two gold cards and two white cards. I laugh out loud. "You know what to do, right?" she asks me. I do. "Go!" she says, and flips over an egg timer. One and a half hours later... We only stopped because we had run out of wine.
